The wine within the bottle offers generous flavors that reflect the richness of an Argentinean Malbec – ripe and polished, with a plush core of plum, blackberry, raspberry, morello cherries, violets, and mocha.

In Argentina a system of small vine grower families, with years of experience working and living with grapevines, tend the land. This unique and harmonious system of viticulture guarantees that painstaking care is taken with each plant and every grape. Our fruit is then crafted into wine in meticulous, state of the art facilities implementing modern, New World philosophy.

Mt. Door Patrick McFarlin

Our label was painted by Santa Fe artist Patrick McFarlin and depicts the beautiful landscape of rural Mendoza, with a cottage-like bodega rendered in the rich colors of the Argentine flag.

Mt. Door Vinyards

Our vineyards consisting of over 200 acres of old vines, some up to 60 years of age, are located 850 meters above sea level, in the Barrancas region of Maipú, Mendoza. Here a distinct micro climate of warm days and cool nights and stony alluvial soils from glacial rivers make wines of exceptional quality with juicy acidity, excellent color, and intense fresh fruit aromas and tannins.
