Black cherry and violet characters mingle harmoniously with smoky warm spice. Hints of red cherries, raspberries, and strawberries are balanced with a touch of vanilla and leather. The wine has serious weight and structure while remaining perfectly balanced. The Old Vine Pinot Noir was aged for 6 months in new French oak.
The Cigar Box “Old Vine” Cabernet is a medium bodied stylish wine, which displays rich riped fruit characteristics. Intense flavors of black currant and plums mingle harmoniously with a subtle hint of spice and toasted coffee. The wine has a soft texture on the palate along with firm fine grain tannins and a long lingering finish.
The wine was aged for 6 months in a mixture of new, one year and two year seasoned French oak barrels.
